The Canadian Chito-Ryu Karate-Do Association is a non-profit association operated by an elected Board of Directors. The Association's membership comprises of Chito-Ryu dojo (clubs) across Canada practicing traditional Chito-Ryu Karate-Do.

Chito-Ryu is one of the oldest styles of karate in Canada. Its founder was a physician and optimized its training methods to provide safe physical conditioning while maintaining maximal effectiveness. Like most other karate styles, there is an emphasis on character development by focusing on good manners, self-discipline, physical fitness as well as self-defense. Instruction at all Canadian Chito-Ryu Karate Association clubs is given by experienced Black Belt instructors.

The CCRKA is the national association of Chito-Ryu Karate-Do in Canada and is committed to understanding and propagating the karate-do of its founder O'Sensei Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose.

The CCRKDA Summit will be held in Toronto from Thursday, November 7 to Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Advanced National Grading will be held on Thursday, November 7, Advanced Clinics/Committee Meetings on Friday, November 8, AGM/Clinics on Saturday, November 9, and Clinics on Sunday, November 10.  Program details will be distributed once finalized by the Saiko Shihan Council.
