The Canadian Chito Ryu Karate Associations 2017 annual general meeting was held the first weekend in November in Toronto. It was well attended by Canadian Chito Ryu and World Chito Ryu members. There were members from BC, Manitoba,Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland, Japan and Norway. Hanshi – Model of the Way Chito-Ryu history was made as our style’s supreme instructor (Saiko Shihan) Higashi Sensei was honoured with a promotion to 10th Dan, Hanshi (retroactive as of Jan. 1, 2013).
