The Canadian Chito Ryu Karate Do Association is proud to announce this year’s recipients of the CCRKDA Post-Secondary Entrance Scholarship valued at $500.
Congratulations to Calvin Zheng and Chloe Lam-Hong, both from Shihan Debbie Brooks’ Burlington Chito Ryu Karate Club, Ontario.
Calvin graduated from Iroquois Ridge High School in Oakville, ON, and has recently started a Bachelor of Computing Honours Program at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON.
Chloe graduated from M. M. Robinson High School in Burlington, ON, and has recently started a Bachelor of Technology Program at McMaster University.
Both Calvin and Chloe balanced academic excellence with outstanding commitments to extracurricular activities, including karate.
The CCRKDA wish Calvin and Chloe many successes over the years to come!
This Scholarship was open to all members of the CCRKDA who were entering their first year of post-secondary study and was made possible by the CCRKDA.

Calvin est diplômé de l’école secondaire Iroquois Ridge d’Oakville (Ontario) et a récemment commencé un programme de baccalauréat spécialisé en informatique à l’Université de Queen à Kingston (Ontario).
Chloé est diplômée de l’école secondaire M. M. Robinson de Burlington (Ontario) et a récemment commencé un programme de baccalauréat en technologie à l’Université McMaster.
Calvin et Chloé ont tous deux concilié l’excellence académique avec un engagement exceptionnel dans des activités parascolaires, notamment le karaté.
L’ACKDCR souhaite à Calvin et à Chloé beaucoup de succès dans les années à venir !
Cette bourse d’études était ouverte à tous les membres de l’ACKDCR qui entamaient leur première année d’études postsecondaires et a été rendue possible par l’ACKDCR.
