At the Canadian Chito Ryu Karate-Do Associations AGM there were five individuals that were successful in their testing for 7th dan. They were tested by Sensei Higashi and along with their 7th dans they were promoted the title of Kyoshi.

These five karate kas are the first in the history of the association to receive the rank of 7th dan and title of Kyoshi.

They are pictured here with Sensei Higashi (left to right) Sensei Doc Smith (Ontario), Sensei Robert McInnis (New Brunswick), Sensei Romualdo Ferri (Ontario), Sensei Chris Golz (Nova Scotia) and Sensei Germain Bisson (Quebec).

Congratulations to each of you on this amazing achievement.
